Nomination for Schaunard Award

The Dutch opera magazine “Place del’Opera” nominated Markus Stenz for the 'Schaunard Award' for his “incredible direction of "‘Die Gezeichneten’ at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam” with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest. Fifteen Dutch opera critics made a shortlist of artists who impressed them this year. Now, it is the readers’ turn: they have a week to cast their vote. The winner will be announced on December 27, 2019.

This year is the seventh edition of the Schaunard Award. There is no prize money involved, the award is an honorary award and displays the critics’ opinion as well as the readers’ opinion.
