The Radio Filharmonisch Orkest (Chief Conductor: Markus Stenz) and the Groot Omroepkoor have been awarded with the Concertgebouw Prijs 2017. They got the award because they have made an important contribution to sharpen the Concertgebouw's musical profile for many years.
The 2017/2018 season once more takes Markus Stenz to numerous concerts in the USA. He will also make his début in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg in the same year it opened. Another highlight is the revival of Franz Schreker's opera “Die Gezeichneten” (“The Stigmatized”) at the Bayerische Staatsoper.
